Playing catch-up: Wade's winter band concert!

We love watching Wade play during band concerts!  Here are a few videos from his winter band concert in December.  He hits those keys with confidence!









I had to snap a quick picture of Wade with Mr. Simon Austin afterwards, too.  This man is such a wonderful band teacher--he taught Rhiannon for 3 years before moving to Murray.  We're glad both kids have had the opportunity to work with him!

Here's a picture of Wade with his 5th grade teacher Mrs. Arwen Kyte.  We took her to lunch at the golf course behind the school for Teacher Appreciation week.  We love her!  She looked after Wade as if he was her own and made it a wonderful year for him!!!!!!!!!

Teacher Appreciation Week this year was probably the craziest week of the year for us for some reason, and because of that Wade and I sorta spaced recognizing his wonderful teacher Mrs. Keehan and asked her for a do-over the following week.  We invited her to lunch at the base golf course behind the school and went off campus together.  Wade was in 7th HEAVEN!

So thankful for this good woman and all her efforts for Wade in 4th grade.  She challenged him, she supported him, and she loved having him in her class.  Lucky boy!
