We took the kids one night and had a T-O-T-A-L blast. I was thinking it was going to be more karaoke and silly, but people kept getting on stage who had enormous talent and really impressed us! We're looking forward to supporting this local event more often. Reasons to go: $2 to get in at the door, supports a good cause, every non-Flex Friday, and as many Indian Wells Valley sodas as we can handle, haha!

We discover a local Ridgecrest treasure
Jason works with a guy named Matt Zubia, and Matt had been bugging Jason for a while to come check out the Open Mic night at the local USO building. Matt's one of those Renaissance men who has a hand in everything, very involved in the community. A good friend to have!
