No such thing as coincidence

So....turns out I didn't need to sub this week after all.  The teacher, who's a friend of mine, changed plans and wasn't going to be gone after all.  No biggie!  That left me with some extra time on my hands today that I desperately needed so I could work on decorating ideas for the Cub Scout

dinner this Thursday!

Another interesting thing:  The secretary at Wade's school in charge of sub jobs was trying to get me set up for another job later in February and told me I was blocked for some reason.  She did a little digging for me and helped update my profile on the new substitute system.  I'm sure glad she did--it had me listed as only being able to teach 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders--WEIRD!
